What's it like as a transitional employee for the post office?

POST OFFICE QUESTIONS RELATING TO WRONG MAIL, urgent!?

  • oh my god! okay.. so.. my boyfriend ordered from this website with his prepaid credit card to buy a bong and a vaporizer, and he put the address down for MY address and the name john smith.. yeah suspicious i know. and, my dad got to the mail before me! and he got all pissed off about how its not right and stuff and he kind of opened the box but the things were covered in bubble wrap so he couldnt tell what was in it.. but he said he's going to return it to the post office. 1. the post office will take it back right..?? because THEY could have made the mistake couldnt they..?? so they HAVE to take it back. ? ALSO. my boyfriend told me to take whats in the bubble wrapped stuff and put other items in it and rewrap it, which i can do.. but i wont get caught right? because my dad cant open other peoples mail can he? that would be invasion of property or mail or something right? 2. all the post office is going to do is send it back to the return address right? they wont ask my dad questions or say no or check whats in the packages right?( since im going to switch them ) this is bad and i really dont want to get in trouble ):

    If your dad thought it was delivered by mistake he had no business opening it. If the name on a piece of mail is unfamiliar at the address the carrier is supposed to attempt delivery as a matter of course. If the person isn't known there and it was sent first class it's returned to sender marked "Attempted, not known" Do NOT steal the product from the package and then return a box of trash to the sender. Save yourself a lot of time and trouble for everyone, including your mail carrier: just buy one at your local smoke shop. Or at least have your genius boyfriend send it to his own damn house. Try not to worry so much. My mother opened my mail order magic mushroom growing kit way back when. I talked my way out of it: just a science project mom, don't get yourself in a twist.

Let your dad send it back. Get rid of the boyfriend who thinks it's ok to send paraphenalia to your parents house!

You're busted. Since your dad "kind of opened the box," the postal worker WILL look inside the box and make a list of the contents for your dad to sign. (This is to protect the postal service in case the company your boyfriend ordered from tries to say some of the contents of the box are missing.) Just let your dad send it back. Nobody knows who John Smith is. Lose the boyfriend. He's a bona fide dumbazs.

they will take it back. you will get caught- it's called dna. your boyfriend should have had it shipped to his house. your dad is fine, because he owns the house at the address. yes that is what they will do. you're not real bright- don't switch the stuff and dump that loser you're dating.
