How can I retrieve my contacts that I had with a previous yahoo account?

Yahoo deleted my account because it was hacked. Can yahoo retrieve my inbox messages and my contacts?

  Try this first ... To reactivate your account: If it has been less that 90 days since you deleted it, sign in as normal with the address and password then click on "I can't access my account". Fill in the form and submit with the details when you first opened your account, or when you last edited the details. You will need the answers to your secret questions AND an alternate e-mail or mobile phone with internet! (possibly even your date of birth and zip or postal code). There are no guarantees that this will be successful. Or you could call 1-866-562-7219.(6a-6p PST) Make sure you get a LIVE operator by punching the right number( #2, perhaps? ) All your present information in the deleted account will be held in that account for that 90 days. After an account is deactivated, Yahoo! can't retrieve any of the information that was formerly stored in that account, such as email and images. You can apply for the same name again, but the folders will all be empty of information. Other people may also apply for the same 'new' account name too, so it might be taken if you re-apply for that user name. NOTE: If Yahoo itself deleted your account, whether Answers or Mail, the account cannot be re-activated.
