How can i know if my emails are being read?

How do I know that my emails have been opened and read by the recipients?

  • How do I get Acknowledgement Receipt or confirmation that my emails have been opened and read by the persons to whom those have been sent.

  • Answer:

Depends on the mail client. Outlook and Outlook Express can certainly request message receipts for confirmation they have been opened, though my email service (Gmail) doesn't seem to have that option. Also, by default they will have the option whether or not to send you confirmation the email has been opened, so depending on why you need confirmation, it might not be 100%.

Depends on who your email provider is. I dont think yahoo mail allows you to do that.

There is no way to be 100 % sure. You can ask for a confirmation, but the receiver does not have to send you one. It is usually a choice that the mail browser will ask the reader if it should send a confirmation email. If your question is how do you ask for a confirmation then you have to set the option when you are writing the email. Probably in something like in the menu Options: Return Receipt

Check it off on your email app, though I have never used it, or cared to, so I can't tell you how exactly to do it.
