How do I view pictures sent to me?

I can't view my pictures that are sent to me by email. All I see is a picture box with an x in the corner?

  • I need to know how to view pictures that are sent to me in emails instead of getting a x in the box.

    if you are using yahoo mail, scroll to the bottom of the email and click on the link called :show html graphics: and thenyou can see it. Thats the only answer you need

The problem is that someone copied and pasted it to you instead of forwarding the original message. Just e-mail them back and see if they can send you the original. Good luck. :-)

have you downloaded the pictures? make sure u have downloaded them

If you're getting the little red cross then your e-mail program is recognising that there should be a picture and normally it would display it automatically. Deoending what e-mail program you have you can try double clicking the attachement icon (often it's a paper clip). If the sender hasn't sent the pictures in a recognisable format or they've somehow become corrupted then you won't be able to view them. Try asking the sender to send them again

You have some setting that is blocking pic's that might be harmful. And it may block all pic's. You need to make some setting that will correct this. But if u think they may be harmful then just do a reply and it will open your pic in the reply box and u can then see the pic but not the links that may be attached.
