Why won't my email messages load?

How do I delete all 55,530 email messages in my inbox all in one load instead of page by page?

  • my inbox for the like the past two years have always been over 30,000 and it takes so long to delete page by page how do i delete them all at once?

  • Answer:

With Beta mail, you can delete them all at once as described in posts above. With Original Yahoo---it's a page by page operation----HOWEVER----you can speed it up a lot by changing the messages per page to 200 instead of only 25. (8 times faster) On mail page click on "options" (upper right) and then scroll to and click on "general preferences". Go down to *Folder/Search results* and change the number----then click a blank spot outside the box to stabilize the #, before scrolling to the bottom of the page to click "save" Back in the inbox, you can now get rid of 200 at a time.
