How to create filter in yahoo mail?

How do you create a yahoo email filter to send an alert to a mobile phone?

  • I've been trying for the past 3 months to create filters that will send an alert, via text, to my mobile phone. I am using the Newest Version of yahoo mail. THE "Send to mobile device" CHECKBOX JUST DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE FILTERS SCREEN ANYMORE! I've registered my phone, several times.... and, NOTHING! I've followed all the instructions to create filters and mobile alerts, i.e., including the instructions at Yahoo's help page here: http://help.yahoo.com/tutorials/cg/mail/cg_filter3.html First off: THERE IS NO "Register your device" link near the top of my Filters page! I did, however, register my mobile phone at this yahoo URL: http://sms.mobile.yahoo.com/messenger/add/index.php. And, I also registered my mobile phone at this yahoo URL: http://mobile.yahoo.com/messenger Somehow, somewhere along the way, it managed to be listed in my "Account Info" page, but the option to select my mobile phone STILL does not show up on my mail filters screen! Having a smilar issue with my calendar alerts! In the past, I could send selected calendar alerts to my mobile phone. The option still exists, but only to my old, AT&T phone.... I'm now with Verizon, and cannot change the option in my calendar alerts. Is anyone else having these types of issues? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, in advance.
