How can I delete email addresses from mail forwarded to me?

I get forwarded mail with addresses of the ones that it was sent to before, how do I delete them ?

  • I want to remove them to reduce the size of the email and not pass on other people's addresses. Thanks to anyone who helps with this. I can't remove them on yahoo mail like I did on the old one that I was using.

    It is really very simple, this is for regular Yahoo mail: -Click the arrow on the 'forward' button -Click 'inline text' on the drop down box, your mail has now been enabled for editing. -Now high-lite the names & delete Sometimes there is something embeded & you have to put your curser before the item to delete a line then you can resume back. If the email came as an attachment, then just forwarding continues to keep it as an attachment with all the names. Inline text, disables the attachment for editing. Hope this helps, cj

When you go to forward the message just highlight the past senders e-mail addresses and push backspace to erase of them this should work!!!Hope it work!!!Good Luck!!! andrea

FIRST ID LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ASKING THIS QUESTION! I get so many emails with so many previous addresses, that it really worries me to divulge this info. I want my contacts hidden for their own safety. I'd like to tell this to all of them, but don't want them to get the wrong idea. You can do this in yahoo, but ONLY after click you on "Forward". Enter the names in the "To" field. Now you can highlight all of the previous email addresses and press the delete button on your keyboard.
