What time is 10:00 AM PDT?

The e-mail time on my reply e-mails is PDT, can this be changed? Or, do I not have to worry to receipient?

  • I have replied to e-mails (returns & forwards) and the time stated is PDT...top bar of e-mail (to-from) How does this affect recipient estimate of when I send the e-mail? Do they get an actual (accurate) timeframe dated? OR do they get the PDT time frame which is not mine but may be Yahoo's in Calf.???

  • Answer:

Yes that is the timestamp that Yahoo uses because their servers are in California. Yahoo wont allow you to change the timestamp. I suggest that you put the date and time you are sending the email at the top of the message so that the person you are writing to will know when you sent it. Here is the Yahoo mail help page concerning timestamp: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/basics/basics-19.html
