How do I change my email sender name?

How can I change my name that appears under "sender" when I send an email?

  • When I send an email, it shows in the receivers mailbox with my name in the sender column. I want to change it so my real name does not show.

Go to yahoo mail and click on options in the top right hand corner of your page. Then click on general preferences and there you can change your name.

As I understand it, you will have to make the changes within your mail account. This can only be accomplished if it isn't password protected or you know the password.

go to your profile and EDIT..if doesn't work make a new email and dont regster your real name

Go in your email and go to email options. Somewhere in there (depending on the mail you use) you will find it and can change it.
