How do i access my yahoo email from my cell phone?

Yahoo used to have a way to text someone from your email account?

• I was using it some to text friends and family since I don't have texting on my cell phone. I had a fairly large list of contacts to text to, but I haven't used it in a week ot two. Now I'm wanting to text one of my kids and I can't find it. there is nothing on my email page to indicate there ever was any way to text. What gives,, am I going nuts, or has Yahoo eliminated that method of communication ??, If not, how do I re-access the thing ?

  if you click new, there should be options that you can : email, send text or other. otherwise, i guess its gone...
