How can I import bookmarks from an old Yahoo account?

Can I import my email messages from old yahoo account to my new yahoo account?

  • Basically, I want to change my yahoo account because the ID is really idiotic. I made this account at uhhh... let's see, about when i was 8 or something. And now I have tons of email that I want to keep when I make my new account. Is there some way to import those messages to my new account? Just asking. Thanks.

    You could keep your original account and.... Add up to 6 additional names (called alias names) on one account, giving you 7 chat names. To add alias names to a current Yahoo! ID, on Yahoo! Messenger from the Messenger menu, click on My Profiles. click on Create/Edit My Profiles. Below your Yahoo ID will be the Create New Public Profile button. Follow the prompts (similar to when you made your original Yahoo! ID). and............. Create a second email account on the same Yahoo! account. Sign into Yahoo! Mail, choose Options in the right hand corner, under Management choose Mail Addresses. You can only get one extra mail address for your account. Click On "Get Started" In this area you can choose the name of your new address. Once you have created the address you can modify how the name will appear to the receipients in the Options/Management/General Preferences section. Yes, as attachments, contact yahoo from your home page or email yahoo customer service. Mine changed automatically when I upgraded service.

only way I know is to forward from old to new, one at a time

I had to change address before myself....so the only way to go about doing that was to forward all the emails to the new address. It may take awhile but you will have them. Good Luck
