How can I change the name that shows up on my Yahoo Profile?

How do I change my profile name in yahoo mail?

  • I set up my account with a nickname and when friends receive emails they get From 'nickname' show up. I want to use my full name now though and when I've changed it in Profile it shows up as changed there but top left of any Yahoo page it still says Hi,'nickname'. How do I properly change my profile name so the nickname is off the system?

    Change how your name appears on your emails, On your Yahoo mail page, Click on, Options - mail options - Mail Accounts In the "From name:" box, enter the name you would like people to see on your email header. You can also change the return address. Have a good weekend J R :)
