How the HELL can I get back to Yahoo mail Classic ... I DO NOT LIKE the new version ... I WANT TO GO BACK .. once before with my own account this happened .. but I was able to switch back ... thankfully ... but my girlfriend accidentally clicked yes on our shared email and now we can't get back

Not all solutions for reverting to Classic Mail work for all computer set-ups. That's why I have included several solutions. The first is the easiest, and permanent, with no nag screens. 1. Yahoo has a new Help page with a direct link to switching back to Classic Mail! This Help page link and solution are new, and a permanent change. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html At the end of the second paragraph, click either [click here] IN BLUE or [No thanks. Continue to Yahoo Mail Classic] - whichever of those appears on your screen. 2. Use one of the following links each time you open your mail - save the Bookmark as a Favorite. Use them every time you visit Yahoo Mail, and you will get the Classic version! (If your account is registered in another country other than the US, the links should be changed to your country abbreviation. Another member gave me this sometime ago. I don't have his i.d. so can't give him the credit. To go back to yahoo mail classic Turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes". If you don't know how to turn off Javascript... For safarim open settings click preferences, click security Uncheck enable java and enable javascript Important.Remember to re-enable java and javascripting backON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For IE: Open tools, internet options, security In security click "CUSTOM LEVEL" . disable active scripting in the scripting section. IMPORTANT:Remember to turn Javascripting back on when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work. For firefox, open tools, options, content, click on "Disable javascript". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (permanent) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. Do not click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option. IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back.
