Is there a way to send mail to a cell phone number like a text message?

  • i would like to know if there is a way to send a message to a cell phone like you would send a text message using yahoo mail.

    Go to the mail screen and click New. Then enter their 10 digit [email protected] No need for the 1 or a subject. Keep the message short because it is a text. Then Send. A copy will be in your sent bin, and when they reply to you it will be in your inbox. I do this everyday to several different cell carriers. And they to me.
