How to change the time stamp on outgoing/incoming e-mail?

I know you can't change the time stamp on the yahoo email but can you see what time a person sent you an email

  • I regularly communicate with someone in a different time zone. I didn’t know if there was any way to decipher what time they sent you that email with the yahoo time stamp provided. (I was thinking that there might be some kind of formula that one could use by plugging in the senders time zone and the yahoo time stamp etc.)

  • Answer:

You shouldlook closely at your email--see the time zone it has been sent. Look to se if est. or mountain time or central time zone or pst--remember est. 12:oopm would be 10am central time and 9:00am pacific time. Good Luck! So really the only way is to know your time zones
