If someone sends an email to my yahoo account can they tell if Ive opened it?

Hi, Depending on the email account they have got cos my mum has a thing that she can check to see if an email has been opened or not. Also ring the airline up and ask them what sort of method they emailed you and ask them to send you a copy out not always they check to see if you have opened your emails maybe they are just trying to cover up and they forgot to email you the details of the flights, airlines are usually like forget to tell you or they say oh we have sent you an email and they never did, so try and speak to the manager or the chief executive and tell him whats going on and see if the airline can trace that email that they sent to you. We are having a similar situation cos we are flying with delta and we are stuck in Atlanta for 8 hours until the next flight is due, we are trying to get swapped onto another flight out of Atlanta. No...they can,t. ...and persist in your money back by threatening them with legal action. Send a letter to the airline asking for a refund and allowing 14 days for a reply before passing your complaint on to your solictor. State you did not recieve notification. Then...if no satisfactory response..........invest in £25.... for a letter to be sent from a solictor.

Actually a lot of big corporations use a system like ReadNotify. I use it for all my yahoo outgoing mails. It will tell you if it has been read but you have to log into readnotify. They have a trial version, or you can purchase it like i did.

No it cant be told if you read it, only be told if you didn't receive it. Tell them you contacted Yahoo and it doesn't work the way they have told you. or tell them your computer is broke and you haven't opened your emails.

Some emailers do have that facility but we don't have it on Yhaoo mail yet.to check some old mail click on the trash and if it hasn't been emptied it might be there. good luck. c yah..

No, not that I know of. That sounds fishy. The airline is trying to wiggle their way out of responsibility. And what difference would it make anyway.
