How to put yahoo mail shortcut on desktop?

How can I put yahoo e-mail on my start menu and on my desktop (as a shortcut)?

    Using Internet Explorer: 1) go to Yahoo (or other site) then go to your mail page (or other page you want). 2) from Internet Explorer's menu, click on "File" then "Send" then select "Shortcut to Desktop". This will save a shortcut on your desktop. To add the shortcut to your start menu, simply "drag and drop" the icon from your desktop to your start menu.

i am not sure how to do that torrent bar is called TS on firefox extentions but you can down load a tool bar on firefox it is a torrent bar on that you can add all your yahoo and messenger emails to it and when you get an email it will show up on the tools bar and it tells you were the email is just click on the email address that you want to go to and it will open it sorry could not help
