How do you deleted your AIM account?

How do you know if someone deleted their aim and/or aim account?

I tried emailing someone and I get an error message..it's freakin me out because this is my only way to contact them...so 1. how can you tell/know for sure if they deleted their aim account?? 2. If someone deleted their aim account, andd you still send then an IM, would you still get the message "so-and-so is offline but will recieve this message when they log back in"? 3. If someone deleted their aim account, would you still see their picture on your buddy list? Please help, this really is scaring me....please and thank you..

Send them an email,and if you get a failure to deliver notice,that's usually a good indicator. Have a good day J R :)
