Why can't I attach file though I click the "attach file" button?

I can't attach files on my email. When I click the attach files button it says error on page. Why?

• I typed a document on word pad and saved it as a rich text format. I then went to attach the file and it repeatedly kept on saying error on page. What is the problem? Please, I need my question answered immediately!

For All Applications, All Operating Systems, and All Domains You can send all types of files as attachments, including word processor or spreadsheet documents, audio files, image files (.bmp, .jpg., .gif, etc.), web pages saved as HTML files, and more. Currently, SBC Yahoo! subscribers can send messages containing up to 50 attachments. The total message size (message + attachments) can be up to 20MB in size. After you've logged in to your SBC Yahoo! Mail account and begin composing a message, follow the instructions below to add an attachment: Click the "Attach Files" link above the compose window. Click the "Browse" button and select a file. Click the "Attach Files" button toward the bottom of the page to attach the selected file to your message. A file attachment confirmation page allows you to remove an attachment before sending, if needed, by clicking on the "remove" link located to the right of the file. Click the "Done" button to attach the selected file(s) to your message. To add multiple attachments, repeat steps 2 and 3. When the files are attached, you can address, compose, and send the message as you normally would. You must use version 5.5 or greater of Internet Explorer or 4.x of Netscape to send attachments.
