Viewing same e-mail from multiple computers?

Can email be checked at the same time on two different computers?

  • Hard question to explain, I know. My BF and I both have Yahoo email. I know his password and he also has a blackberry that he uses to check email. So if I go onto his email on our home computer and he is on his BB at the same time checking his email, will each of us know the other is on email simultaneously? Unless I deliberately open or delete an email, (which I wouldn't do), would he know that I was looking if he were on at the exact same time?

    As long as the mail is kept on a remote server rather than downloaded to your local system, then yes, you can both access it at the same moment (see incoming messages, etc) and no, he wouldn't know you were looking at the same time. Keeping an eye on him are you.... ;) ?

Either you would NOT be able to get on -- or he would get spontaneously "signed out" -- which would alert him to the issue. You can't be signed on in 2 locations simulatenously.

If you have his e-mail and password, yes it can be check at the same time. However if your boyfriend catches you, your relationship is over. As a guy, I would not tolerate this. Plus what you are doing is a crime. We had that issue here at work and someone lost their job over it.
