How can I hide email addresses in group email?

Is there a way to hide the email addresses when you send a mail to a group of people?

  • ..so that the receiver cannot know to whom all i have sent that particular mail.

  • Answer:

Yes you can. First of all i appreciate you for doing this which helps to avoid spam messages. Click the button BCC type/paste the email address separated by commas[,]. Send it! Now the receipent can not see the other address which will avoid spamming other addressee by a third person. Encourage your friends also to do the same. Togetherly lets fight against SPAM!

Put them in the BCC field. There is a link on the composition page to open it. Put your address in the TO field. ₪ ɦəlʞɹɐq ₪

I put all the email addresses in the BCC area. You don't have to fill in the TO: box with your email address. The people receiving the message will be unable to see other email addresses and the TO: will say 'undisclosed recipients.' Hope this helps.

Use your own address for the 'To:' line, and add all your other addresses in the Bcc line. Cc means 'carbon copy,' you use it to send other people a copy of the E-mail you are sending to the person in the 'To:' line. Bcc means 'blind carbon copy,' you use it to send other people a copy of the E-mail you are sending to the person in the 'To:' line, but this way no one can see the addresses of the other people, with the Cc selection they can.
