Problem with sending emails with Hotmail?

I NEED TO CONTACT YAHOO?? I HAVE A MAIL problem --its sending out emails to my contacts--W/O PERMISSION-15-50?

  • My MAIL has gone nuts--it responding or sending out replies? emails to my contact list without my doing it...i went from 10-15 a day to 50 plus now, im hoping one of you has had a similar problem and an idea of how to stop it. i honestly do not know what to do. ive deleted, i even spamed and the still game back..i bug checked my sysytem and it shows no problem aqnd my hotmail acct doesnt show any signs of being involved except its support also received an email from me ...I have read, i think every help file with no help there. ive had this account forever and hate to think i have to close it out , especially since i pay for it. i dont know what else to say..i did take screen shots but they cant be included here so thats useless....thank you, any suggestion will be appreciated

If you can still get into your account, this is not dangerous. They grabbed your Contact List and sent spams. They did this from their computer. That is why you won't see them in your Sent file. Usually they send everyone 1 or 2 spams and then they are done. By the time you run your anti-virus , they are long gone. We don't exactly know how they are getting in. The obvious way is to send you an email with a bad link (same as they sent to your friends). Since they didn't use your password to get into your account, changing it doesn't do much. Read the December 8th and 13th entries on Yahoo's ymailblog.com which explains what is happening and what you can do about it.
