How to put a word document onto an email?

How can I change a word document which is attached to an email that I have receive?

  • I have resived an email that a word document is attached to it. I want to change some words in this document in order to see this change when I open this document in my inbox. is it possible? (I dont want to save this changed document only in my computer, I want to change the real document that is attached to the mail that I have receive it in yahoo mail)

    No you cannot change the original file that was sent to you as the copy you have in your email is only a copy. Any changes you make will only affect your document and not the senders original document.

I presume it opens as read only! In which case you can right click on the icon for the document and take off the read only tick under properties. Or bite the bullet and save it to your hard drive and re-attach it.

I thought that you would open the attachment, save as, save it to a file or folder or your desktop then you can work on the document to your hearts content. Maybe i'm wrong but thats how I save and change my attachments. Good luck.
