How do I transfer folders for emails to a new Yahoo address?

• Have been getting my emails via one yahoo account for years. Am changing to a new account under yahoo but can't find how to transfer email folders over to the new account. Is there a way to do this?

  No you can't transfer email folders as a whole folder. The 1 & only way to do that is to open each and every single folder 1 by 1. So open a folder then you must open each and every single email message as if your going yo read it. Only after an email has been opened as if your going to read it can if be sent/forwarded. You have to do this for each and every email 1 at a time in your mail folders you can't send/forward folders as a whole folder. Yeah time consuming if you have a lot of emails you want to forward good luck. JTSYS
