Why won't Yahoo Mail let me attach photos?

Everytime I attempt to attach a Microsoft Word Document to an e-mail, my yahoo mail will not let me attach it?

  • I am certain my MS Wrod document does not exceed the max. allowable size. Please explain what I need to do to attach MS Word documents to my Yahoo email. Thanks you!

    well, wat you need to do to attach files is to hit 'compose' and click on the 'attach files.' then click 'browse' in how ever many files you are going to attach. after that, find the file you want and then click 'attach files' where you will have a conformation page that says you have attached the file. if this doesnt work, go to Yahoo! Mail Help and ask this question again

Maybe you got a virus in it.

perhaps there is a virus in you're word document or maybe you should just try to cut and paste from word to your letter

Copy & paste the document into an email. It's easier that way & you don't have to worry about Yahoo's Norton virus scanner rejecting the document attachment. To copy, click your cursor inside the document at any point. Then click Ctrl A, that selects the whole document. Click Ctrl C to copy it to the MS Clipboard. In your Yahoo mail, click Compose. Click in the body of the email under the To: From: Bcc: Cc: boxes. Click Ctrl V to paste. Your MS Word document should appear there. You can also go to the top of the MS Word toolbar & click on the commands there. Same thing will happpen.
