Mark new unread emails?

How to mark ALL yahoo emails as read?

  • Hello! I have more than 100,000 emails and 12 are unread. Is there an easy way to mark these as read, without having to go through thousands of pages? Thank you.

  • Answer:

Just below Inbox is a View area for All, From Contacts, Unread, Flagged (at least in Classic Mail, which I use) Click to find that list of Unread. Click the mails in this list, hen click the Mark tab, and select Mark as Read. Done! To delete ALL messages, in Options, Mail Options General, there is a section to choose how many mails show per page. In Classic mail, the highest limit is 500 per page, In the newest mail, select scrolling list (or some similar term - I don't use it) Then, above the check mark boxes for individual mail, click the box there ... below Delete and beside From: ... That selects all messages - they are marked with checks. Then click Delete. To organize your mails better, make use of My Folders. Add new Folders for categories that make sense for you, then check messages and Move to the new folders. (Ribbit)

Below delete there should be a checkbox is the top bar which says subject, from etc. Click that. Then click the gear and 'mark as read'.

there should be a button down somewhere that says "mark all as read"
