How to move email messages from one email account to another on an Android device?

I'm planning to switch from an iPhone 4 to an Android phone, but there is one issue that I noticed: On my iPhone, I am able to move a message from a folder from one mailbox to another mailbox set up on the same device. However, I can't find a way to do this on an Android device using the native Email (I event tried TouchDown, MailDroid, and K-9 Mail). It only allows you to move messages from one folder to another folder that is in the same mailbox. Is this a limitation on Android?
