How can I block all incoming emails, except those who are in my contacts?

How do I block emails from people in my contacts?

• I dont want to delete them b/c if i do then i can still get their emails.Im wanting to block family emails & i want them to know i block them when they try to send me a email..

  You have to "manually" put their address in your blocked list----THEN Yahoo will immediately delete any future emails from that address. You'll never see them---and---they are NOT notified that they have been blocked (for security reasons). They will think you are still getting their emails (which, of course you aren't) Do this to block them. Mail page>>options>>mail or more options>>Spam (from the list on the left)>>block addresses. Enter that exact address>>click "add block">>THEN click "save changes" at the top of the page. You "may" be "required" to remove them from your Contact List before you can block them---but it'll tell you if you have to (or not). The only way they will know that you have blocked them ---is IF you tell them yourself.
