Answer:
Log in to your yahoo mail account. Click on options (on the right). Click on account information (on the left). Edit your member information to the time zone you want.

You can't change the time stamp. If you opened a Canadian Yahoo account from Yahoo.ca, then at the time of opening, you can choose which time zone to use. Otherwise, you're stuck!!
