Can I get email notifications on my desk top?

Answer:
yes you can. I use yahoo widgets for that. here is a link to download the software: http://widgets.yahoo.com .If you have a reasonably fast computer, it should not be a problem. P.S you might want to check your proxy settings when you try to access your email from the desktop. Sometimes the firewall also tries to block it.
