If i have blocked a person and undone an accidental friend request, Does an email notification still get sent?

I was able to undo an 'accidental friend request by blocking te person and then unblocking them.... My question is, Does an email notification still get sent to their account?

With Yahoo----no notice is ever sent to a person who is blocked.
