Why won't Mozilla Thunderbird open .doc attachment?

Froward Mails from Yahoo to Mozilla Thunderbird?

I am using Mozilla Thunderbird but i have only one problem. When i transfer mails from yahoo to Mozilla Thunderbird it delete all mails from Yahoo mail and put it in Mozilla Thunderbird. I just want to copy mails and remain as read in yahoo

I had the same problem and solved it with another Yahoo Answer: Just go to Tools - Account Settings in Thunderbird. Under Server Settings Check Box "Leave Messages on Server Until I Delete Them" To get your email back in your Yahoo inbox, you will have to forward it 1 by 1 back to Yahoo Mail. It would be nice if you could send multiple emails all at once to Yahoo Email, but I don't think that is possible. You will get great help with Mozilla's Thunderbird help newsgroup. Just use the NNTP "news.mozilla.org" to start a newsgroup account called "news.mozilla.org, and then subscribe to the mozilla.support.thunderbird newsgroup.
