How do i set up Alerts to be text to my phone i have mail? I don't want to sign up and pay a monthly fee just?

just to activate Yahoo mail. I DON NOT WANT TO CHECK my mail from phone. i ONLY want alerts texts when i get mail.. HELP

It goes hand in hand, alerts for new email. You pay a monthly charge to get email. Ask your service provider to make sure. Also check in your book for your cell phone.
