Can I Get A Virus From Previewing Email In Yahoo Email Search?

• I received an email that looked suspicious. It was from a name I have never heard of and the subject line was blank. Without opening it, I entered the senders name on the search bar and searched my Yahoo email, The search result displayed a "snippet" which was a portion of the email. When I returned to email inbox, it still showed as unread. Can I get a virus just from the email search "snippet" being displayed.in the search results? I moved the email to spam and then deleted it. Thanks.

  Not just Searching Snippet No.. Unless you CLICKED something that said Snippet and I don't know.. To get a virus there would have to be a fake scan to pop up or you would of had to download something or clicked snippet in the search results.. If your still concered And this didn't help I would download this http://www.malwarebytes.org/ it's a free scanner and removes and sort of virus.. And yeah put the email in the spam folder and delete it :)
