  • Answer:

If you are using Yahoo! Mail to communicate with this person, you can view the "Full Header" of the e-mail received from this address, it would give you the path the message took to reach your mailbox, which can help you determine the country of this user... IMPORTANT: I Think this person is not from ITALY because this ID was created on 1/29/2006 (i cud determine that from the profile of the iD) and if they chose ITALY as their country while registering the account on yahoo!, their e-mail address should be @yahoo.it and NOT @yahoo.com ..u can get @yahoo.com address only if u choose USA as the country while registering your account...so either they are fake or they just provided incorrect information about themselves while creating the Yahoo! account... P.s. why dont u add them to your Yahoo! Messenger list under a different screen name and chat to them for a while, it would give you a fair idea about their whereabouts...

If they want you to make a wire transfer I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole! 99.9999% of the time they will rip you off. I suggest you read the eBay help page re payment types and pick another option. Good Luck!
