How do I delete incoming e-mails that are no longer needed?

Is it possible to archive my old yahoo emails?

• I have so many old emails that I am afraid to delete. Is there a way to archive these old emails, some of which are three years old, so that I could access them at a later time, if needed?

  Yes you can save them in folders, that way it will clear out your inbox, even the sent bin if you wanted to. Open the inbox, click the little box in front of one of the emials you want to save, just to start, then click Move, when it opens click New Folder, you will get a popup, give the folder a name, Now that email you click on the box is in there. You can put as many as you want into a folder, or make separate folders Just repeat this process, only after you have created the folder, all you need to do is click on the email, click move, click the folder and it's in there. You can click several at once by clicking the little box in front of each one.
