Is anyone else having Yahoo mail problems today?

  • I cannot log into my Yahoo email today. I keep getting the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I refresh and the same thing happens. I can obviously get on every other part of Yahoo (i.e. Answers) but for some reason my mail just won't display. On the Yahoo home page it tells me I have new emails but I can't access them!! What's the deal!?!? I just tried it again and my inbox came up for a second and then the error message suddenly popped up! Anyone else having this problem?

    Yes...your not the only one...I thought my place of business installed blocking software or something..Glad I'm not the only one have this problem today (10/26/09). Thought I was going crazy

here in Connecticut, USA, we are all having problems reading or composing e mail messages.. The yahoo page is fine but once you check your mails, the message about connection problems with the server appears.. this is crap! Yahoo people should get this fixed. i share everyone's frustration about not having a live person to talk to.

Yes! It's so irritating to depend on yahoo email for work when there are always issues---it's unprofessional, and just plain annoying. I've been putting up with not having the ability to use the "search" function in the email for two months now (they've apparently been working on fixing that for awhile), and now not being able to view my mail at all? That's ridiculous! I think I'm going to switch over to gmail permanently because I feel like Yahoo can't get their stuff together...

I have had the same problem since the 24th. It is still not working, yet yahoo says they have the problem fixed now. Don't believe them. This is not the first time that yahoo has had this problem and it seems to happen far too often. They need to work it out or I am going to change mail systems. I have used yahoo mail for over ten years but I am getting fed up. If other programs work, they should too.

i have rocketmail and i cannot access it. i saw someone posted that its free, so we cant complain, but i can take my "free" account somewhere else if yahoo cannot suport new accounts, alot of accounts or the new mail version. i agree that i may switch to google. yes, its a free account, but i should be able to access it. as soon as i can i am switching.

Same for me. I have 2 Yahoo Mail Accounts, one is working and one is not. I am assuming it is a Server Issue with the newer account. Driving me crazy as well, as this is my business account and I need to get access to these emails.

Yes. I even tried opening in a different browser. Then when it finally opened, it wouldn't open attachments. It sucks!
