AFTER you've made and saved your avatar>>> >>then you must go to your profile page. (click on your nickname to get there). >>click "edit my info". (to the right of your gray face) >>under 1st frame---which should show your new avatar----click "use Yahoo avatar". >>then scroll to and click on "preview and OK". It should show up immediately.
