Homepage on new Yahoo account (set-up by us as a joint account) displays one of our names instead of profile.?
-
We have individual Yahoo accounts and have just set-up a joint account. The joint account is a conflation of our two names, e.g. Mike and Jenny into MikJen, but on the homepage it says hello Jenny. Have checked the account names are set up ok but these Is this something to do with cookies?

Answer:
Unless you both have different log-ins (meaning that it asks for individual passwords each time you switch users), there can only be one name displayed upon log-in. You can change the first name to "Mike & Jenny" by clicking "My Account" up at the top and editing your account info, but otherwise, Yahoo! sees the account as one person. However, cookies can be a factor if you have two separate accounts and it keeps switching back to things only seen by the other user (like this).
