What is the difference between digital signature and digital certificate?

Why the current difference in signature policy between classic and new email?

  • Because of some technical problems today (now resolved), I had occasion to use the classic email for the first time in a long time. I noticed that in classic email, one has the option, with each message, of adding a signature or not. In the new email, one must choose to add a signature to all outgoing messages, or not to include a signature. I choose to add a signature to most messages, but not all (in which case I have to delete it manually.) Anyone know why it is like this?

  • Answer:

Classic e-mail allow for im messages.
