How can I change the default Windows Mail?

How do I change my default e mail in vista from windows mail to yahoo?I do not want to use windows mail ?

I have tried everything to use yahoo as my default e mail in vista but can not figure out the maze .In XP its very easy.but vista is a nightmare I have been trying to figure this out for 4 hours now and nothing/everything leads back to windows mail.I know you cant use yahoo in windows mail so I do not want to use it...someone please help.

Clicking on mail links on web sites or programs will transfer control to your default email application (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc). In order to use Yahoo Mail as the default email application you must install Yahoo Messenger. It then allows the Messenger program to be the interface to Yahoo Mail.
