How do you set the computer to make a sound everytime you get a new email?
-
I have changed a setting somewhere along the way without realizing that I must have turned off the sound that lets you know when a new email has been delivered to your inbox. I need help in getting that turned back on. Thanks.

Answer:
You will need to have Yahoo Instant Messenger open in the background to hear the sounds. 1. With Messenger open, click on "Messenger." 2. Click on "Preferences." 3. Click on "Alerts & Sounds." 4. Check the box next to "Enable alert sounds. 5. Check the box next to "Alert me when someone signs on or off by showing a message at the bottom right corner." 6. Check the box next to "Playing a Sound." 7. Click the "Browse" button to choose the sound you prefer. 8. Click OK to save and close your preferences.
