I am not able to view hidden folders. i use windows xp. show hidden files and folders option is not displayed.?

i go to the tool bar. click on view option and then go to hidden files and folder option. but view hidden files and folder option is not displayed. can somebody please help me

Answer:
"Folder options" are on the Start Menu (in windows xp). Start>>Controll Panel>>Appearances and Themes. Folder Options is one of the choices under "appearance and theme". Click on it and in the dialog box that opens---click the "view" tab at the top. Make the changes you want----then click OK.
