How to e-mail "undisclosed recipient?

If I am sending a massive email!!how can change the to:field to undisclosed recipient 2protect others privacy?

  • When sending a massive e-maill, I do not like to show everybody email on the massage out of courtesy and respect to others privacy, so I would like to know how can I change the to field BC or BCC fields to undisclosed recipients. Sometimes I send it to myself in the to: Field and add all the othe addresses to the BCC field but I really would to do it the other way if any body could help me since I am not a computer wizzzzzzzzz.     Put your OWN address on the TO line----BUT----enclose it within parenthesis, like this ([email protected]) Then you MUST put ALL other addresses on the BCC line---(NOT the CC line). The Email will be delivered to all, but will only show on the TO line--"Undisclosed-Recipients".

If I understand correctly, you have done this right in the past by sending one to yourself and the rest BCC. The recipients are the ones who see the message, "undisclosed recipients" you can't see that as the sender. I appreciate you thinking about this issue. Too many folks just always forward stuff to everyone on their mailing list and send them CC. I don't like to have my name on their mailing list for that reason, that's how spam gets started, or at least that's one way for it to start. Blessings!

You've got your best answer from Marty. Send to yourself as the recipient and all others put in BCC. No one sees anyones name/addy but yours. As Marty says and I do too, thanks for thinking of everyones privacy. I really......really dislike getting emails with 50 other addy's and I have to scroll scroll scroll to get to the message.
