How do I set my an old e-mail address as a new one just like beggining?

• I have e-mail address " [email protected]". My this e-mail address is known to various people and they send me daily a lot meaningless e-mail that make me very uncomfortable. But I need this e-mail address because this email I have used as my personal e-mail in many necessary places.. Now I want to set this e-mail address as my new e-mail address. I don't want to receive any mails from any other previous addresses. How do I set my this email as my new one from now.

  The email address you have given is still a good email address (I wouldn't expose it here though, you're opening yourself up for spam). You can keep it and close all of your other Yahoo email accounts, but the one that is connected with your Internet Service Provider, or the one that is connected with Internet Explorer, cannot be removed, as that would cut you off of the Internet. So, if that's what you mean, closing the others, just keep whichever one you need to keep and just don't use them.
