How do you change the time for yahoo?

    First of all, I would go to your Account Info and see what it says under Member Information. There is a time zone setting there. But keep in mind that the messages don't always follow the time zone you set in Yahoo! Just know what the correction factor is and pay attention to the hours off from the Prime Meridian. If I see a time with (-5:00) out to the side, then I know that it is in the Eastern Time Zone. If it sais (-8:00), then I know it is Pacific Time, so I add 3 hours back to get what time it was sent in my time. It is annoying that it doesn't always give the message time in your own time, even with the setting above properly set.

The Yahoo! Co. is based in the west. Due to the western time zone, their time is not for all people. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed in most cases. Here's a suggestion though. Go to Yahoo! Calendar ( http://calendar.yahoo.com/ ) and goto Options. Under "General Preferences" you can change the "Time Zone:".
