How can I change my avatar to a photo?

  • I click on my name on the upper right, then the avatar, but something comes up that says Hello Anne 2, something about an easier way and it won't scroll, it just jumps up and down if I try to scroll it. Wish Yahoo would not change thing around.

    Hi Anne, For the Photo avatar, Click on this link http://profiles.yahoo.com/ Hover over your image and click "Change Picture" Click "Add Photo" then browse, choose the picture that you want,and do the CAPTCHA code. When your picture has uploaded, click on it then on "Use selected photo" Then click on this link, http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit then click on "Use my Profile image" And finally click on Preview and OK that's you good luck. If you just want another cartoon type avatar Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com (An easier way to remember the link is www.yahoo.com/avatars ) You can always find this link by clicking on your avatar pic Edit My Preferences Under the Avatar section there is a link that says "Get My Avatar Now" ..this takes you to the link I typed above. The middle link on that same page lets you download one from your computer. Once the page comes up..put your cursor on the bottom of the photo until you see "change this photo" .........then follow that through PS > It doesnt always work .

Click on view my profile. Double click on your picture or avatar where it says change your picture.Box opens with options to upload a picture. Upload the picture from your computer, select it and you are done.
