• On a regular basis I am receiving emails under the name of Yahoo with its logo stating that Yahoo is concerned about the volume of emails and in order to weed the unused mails, please provide your email ID and password. many of my friends have fallen prey this trick and their email contact addresses are used to convey the message that their belongings were stolen in foreign land, please send money to the address given below. What can Yahoo do to stop this menace?

  Any emails from banks, internet providers and others asking for ID and password should be regarded as suspicious and deleted! I have received several requests from what appeared to be Yahoo requesting my ID password, and I have also received emails with money requests from friends, whom I knew not to be where the email said they were! . Following up with these persons involved I found out that they all responded and provided their email ID and password to these unscrupulous hackers. Hope Yahoo will do something about this, as the email requesting ID and password appear quite genuine, using the Yahoo logo!
