How do I turn off the announcement and bell sound when I receive new email? ?
-
I have a nuisance email sender who floods my email box with junk. I have listed him as spam and no longer get the emails, but I get a bell notice and notice of new email every time he sends something out. How can I block this notice?
-
Answer:
You can turn off the sounds in Yahoo Messenger Preferences. Messenger/ Preferences/ Alerts & Sounds/ Uncheck the box in front of "Enable alert sounds". You can change it to get a pop up box or just to show you a msg on the bottom of the screen, or No notification at all. Also you can change the sound wave to different sounds. Hope I helped.
