How do you get your avatar to show up as your picture?

How do I get a picture or avatar to show up?

  • I've created the avatar, uploaded a picture, went to my account, tried to have either one of them displayed but still a gray-faced anonymity. Can you help me?

    1. If you want a cartoon avatar, you could create or modify at http://avatars.yahoo.com and don't forget to save your changes by clicking the "Save Changes". Then go to 3. 2. If you want a photo avatar, you can upload pictures to http://pulse.yahoo.com/y , click on "Add / Change your photo" and make sure the photo has appeared. Will usually appear immediately. If not appear, go to 3. 3. Now go to the Yahoo! Answers profile at http://id.answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit . Click "Update image or avatar" . Select the avatar you've created earlier, then click "Use selected photo." Click "Submit" to save. ◉ NOTE: If you hide your Pulse profile the image will not show up on Yahoo! Answers ( http://pulse.yahoo.com ) .
